World Sleep Day

We sleep for 1/3 of our lives. If we don't, we wouldn't be able to function for the other 2/3. Sleeping replenishes us physically and mentally, and it's essential that it's done correctly; and that means sleeping 8 to 9 hours a night, preferably on the back, preparing for sleep by letting the body relax in a silent and dark bedroom, and trying to empty the mind. Sleep deprivation can wreak havoc on the health from the physical to the mental, so don't consider sleeping time a luxury, consider it the necessity that it is.
